About the job

HelloFresh UK is on the hunt for an experienced senior product marketing manager to drive growth and customer retention across the HelloFresh platform. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract starting in Jan 2021. 


  • Develop product positioning and messaging for key product launches and features, considering factors like the value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape and wider product pipeline.
  • Create the go-to-market plan, working closely with Product Development, Design, Marketing, PR and Business Intelligence to build effective launch strategies, including: setting target audience and objectives, developing compelling creative assets, and launch strategies to drive demand, adoption and success of launch. 
  • Identify product education initiatives and opportunities to ensure that our customers are always supported and fully understand the value of our propositions whether that is through CRM testing initiatives, in box materials or other channels.  
  • Partner with the wider marketing team including growth teams and tech teams,  to ensure that our understanding of audience needs and key product messaging is consistent across all customer touch points with a focus on website and app. 
  • Develop a pipeline of testing initiatives to improve effectiveness of campaigns and building understanding on how to target new audiences and acquire customers through product marketing. 
  • Partner with the Global Brand team and the UK Customer Team to develop and evolve our UK customer segmentation, working together to understand the customer lifecycle and the unique relationship customers have with our product. 
  • Develop strong working relationships with our global brand team to improve creative product marketing processes including influencing product focused CRM, photography look and feel, communications on app and website such as iconography and copy. 
  • Manage product marketing executive ensuring the team executes brilliantly on all campaigns and always shares key learnings with the wider team. 

What you will be doing:

Lead on the development  of the yearly product marketing plan together with the Local/Global Brand teams, ensuring all initiatives have clear goals that ladder up to the overall Brand goals and business strategy.

Work closely with our Local/Global Brand teams on Global-led product initiatives that roll-out to all HelloFresh countries, making sure that these are optimised to achieve UK’s brand goals.

Liaise with Local/Global Brand teams on day-to-day campaign management and execution supporting where possible to maximise campaign value.

Lead on working with Local/Global Brand and Growth teams to ensure that the product positioning is effectively reflected across marketing channels and initiatives and that all assets drive a consistent brand experience across the marketing mix.

Lead on all tests and learn opportunities by developing a creative testing approach whenever possible, supporting the development of creative hypotheses, following-up on test implementation and test results.

Work closely with the Head of Brand to contribute learnings and ideation to help build and evolve our wider brand strategies and initiatives.  

Who you are:

  • Performance-driven and goal-oriented professional with solid product marketing experience. 
  • You are passionate about customer data and can break complex customer challenges down to simple actions. 
  • You are a great communicator and know how to manage multiple stakeholders. 
  • Highly organised and structured in your approach to work.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experienced in managing a team and value learning and development opportunities. 
  • Strong left & right brain - known for creativity and innovation but also for rigorous testing, measurement and iteration to improve results continuously.
  • Passionate about food and cooking.

Location: The HelloFresh Farm, 60 Worship Street, EC2A 2EZ, London

Recruitment Process: first, you will have a phone interview with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. Should you be successful, we will ask you to work on a technical test) at home. If you are invited to the next stage, you’ll have a HelloFresh DNA interview with two members of the Brand Team (to assess cultural fit and overall chemistry) and a competency interview with the Head of Brand, in which you will present the case study. If you pass the competency interview, you would have final calls with our Vice President of Global Brand and our UK Marketing Director.
