I'm Lily—a chef from Wales with a background in Food Anthropology. I believe mayonnaise is the unsung hero of gastronomy, dill is betrayal in herb form, and resisting a full block of cheese is a daily battle (one I often lose with pride). My work blends curiosity, culture, and a genuine obsession with flavour.

Lactose intolerant but undefeated. Cheddar is my Everest—and I climb it regularly. Despite my body's protests, my love for cheese knows no bounds.

Experience

Experience

I started out at a small charity helping migrant and refugee chefs teach cookery classes; this experience deeply shaped how I think about food, culture, and storytelling. I then joined HelloFresh as a recipe tester, eventually becoming a recipe developer, where I now turn kitchen chaos into craveable cuisine. Along the way, I’ve developed strong opinions, bold recipes, and an ongoing personal mission to legitimise chocolate mousse as breakfast.
