Classic Box Recipes for Delivery Week Commencing 3rd September

What we call Iran today used to be known as Persia and it's a country with a rich culinary heritage. Not surprising when you see where it sits on the map - a link between the Middle East and the Far East, Russia and Arabia. Persian food has absorbed influences and ingredients from all these places and, in turn, influenced them. Tonight's stew has echoes of Dhansak but something all of its own as well. We hope you enjoy!

André wanted you to enjoy this delicious creamy curry with some chapatis, but he didn’t think everyone would be in the mood for making their own Indian-style flatbreads after a busy day. So, he came up with this cheat's version: whole wheat soft tortillas, warmed in a pan and flavoured with nigella seeds. We think you'll be impressed!

Pork and apple is a classic combination and everyone loves a burger. Take those two ideas, add a bit of HelloFresh magic and what have you got? A pork and apple burger, that's what! Add some rosemary wedges and a fresh pea shoot salad and it's a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Our tip is to take the pork out of your fridge around 45 mins before beginning - bringing it up to room temperature means the burgers cook more evenly. Enjoy!

The secret ingredient in tonight's dinner is peanut butter! Along with the coconut milk it brings a richness and creaminess to temper the chilli fire. You don't see massaman dishes on Thai menus as often as the standard red or green curries so it's worth knowing how to knock one up yourself. Enjoy!

We love panko breadcrumbs. They're larger and more delicate than normal breadcrumbs so crisp up better when cooked. Today we're using them to bring some crunch to a garlicky chicken breast served with roasted veggies. Enjoy!

Have you tried black garlic before? We get ours from the Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight. It's got plenty of weird and wonderful uses - we've seen black garlic ice cream and also vodka! It's even delicious eaten on its own like sweets! Tonight though, we're using it in a sauce for flaky, oven-baked salmon. Hope you love it as much as we do!
