Amazon: What is the HelloFresh offer for Amazon Prime members?
As long as your Amazon Prime membership is active and this offer is available, Prime members can enjoy free shipping on their HelloFresh boxes (normally £4.99/box) for 12 months. With HelloFresh, you can make home cooking easy and delicious. Get fresh ingredients and simple-to-follow recipe cards delivered to your doorstep.
How long do your ingredients stay fresh?

As a general rule, our meat will always have an expiry date of at least three days from the date of delivery. Other ingredients' freshness can vary but are all designed to last the week.

We'd advise you to plan your meals with the freshness of items in mind, using products such as fish with shorter expiry dates at the start of the week. Check the recipe cards for any eat me first or eat me early messages which are there as a guide to consuming your recipes.

If you wish, you can freeze your meat for up to three months, as long as you do so before the use-by date.

We’re a meal kit delivery service designed to make dinnertime simple and delicious!


How do we do this? By delivering fresh, seasonal ingredients and easy-to-follow recipe cards right to your door, making it quick and easy for you to cook wholesome dinners the entire household will love.


How does it work? You select your meals to create your perfect menu, and we’ll deliver the exact amounts of everything you need to make the meal. You’ll just need to have a few pantry staples on hand (don’t worry - it’s just a few basics and you can check what you'll need when you select your meals).


We run a flexible subscription, so there’s no scary lock-in terms or cancellation fees. And the best part? You can manage your account on the go via our free HelloFresh app. Just make sure any changes are made before the deadline, which is 11:59 PM five days prior to your delivery.

How do I report fraudulent activity using the HelloFresh brand?

We are aware of fraudulent websites and emails that look very similar to HelloFresh or carry our branding. In the UK, HelloFresh operates solely through the web domain, HelloFresh.co.uk. For all other official domains operating under the HelloFresh brand name, please visit our global website here. We urge customers to keep their details safe and remember we will never email you to ask you for your personal details, financial or otherwise.

How do HelloFresh hold my data?

To enable you to order from us, we will create a customer account for you after your registration. In order to protect your customer account from access by third parties, we store your username and password, making your account only accessible by you, with your login details.

In order for us to deliver the boxes to your door, we store your contact data, order and delivery time, and payment information. You can voluntarily provide your phone number so that we can contact you in case of delays or problems delivering your box.

HelloFresh values your privacy, for more information about how HelloFresh processes your personal data please see our privacy policy.

If you would prefer we did not have this information, you can request for it to be erased by submitting your request here. This process of erasure can take up to 28 days, but we can assure you that we will no longer keep any of your details or contact you in the future.

Amazon: I have a HelloFresh subscription already. Can I switch to the Amazon Prime offer?
Yes, you can. Once you are logged into Prime, follow the steps shown in the FAQ 'How can I redeem the free shipping offer from HelloFresh with my Amazon Prime account?' and redeem your offer. You will be asked to log in to HelloFresh, which will recognise that you are a redeeming customer. The wallet banner in your HelloFresh account will indicate you have free shipping.
Amazon: How can I redeem the free shipping offer from HelloFresh with my Amazon Prime account?

Amazon: Will my personal data be shared between Amazon Prime and HelloFresh?
By giving consent after signing in with Amazon Prime, the customer agrees that Amazon can share their Prime membership status information with HelloFresh, to provide you free shipping over 12 months and that HelloFresh may share offer redemption and/or cancellation information with Amazon.
Amazon: What if I cancel my HelloFresh subscription?
If you have previously added the free shipping benefit to your account and you choose to cancel your account at any time, this Offer will automatically lapse. If you choose to reactive your HelloFresh subscription you will not be able to reclaim this offer.

Amazon: Do my email addresses for Amazon Prime account and HelloFresh account need to match?
No. During the redemption process, you will be asked to enter your Amazon credentials separately.
Amazon: The free shipping offer is limited to one per customer and household. What if I need to have more than one HelloFresh subscription in the same household because of my personal situation?
Our recipe boxes have several options and can cater for 2-4 people with 3-5 recipes weekly. We think it's best to manage a subscription using one account, as there's plenty of flexibility. However, we do recognise that there can be cases where there is a genuine need to have two subscriptions in the same household. In such cases, please get in touch with the Customer Care team by clicking here and we will be happy to assist you.
Amazon: What is the HelloFresh delivery window?
This 12-month free shipping discount will apply to our standard delivery window which is 8 AM-9 PM, seven days a week.
Amazon: How do I cancel my HelloFresh subscription?

How have you reduced the packaging?

At HelloFresh we're committed to reducing our packaging. To provide fresh, high quality ingredients we do need to ensure some items are packaged, however, we have a packaging reduction programme in place and since 2017 we've reduced the packaging in the boxes by 20%.


This includes removing all black plastic, replacing trays with skin packs and we work with industry bodies like WRAP to explore ways that we can take advantage of innovations in packaging.

Our suppliers

Responsible ingredient sourcing means getting to know our suppliers far beyond the specifications we can read on a label. We aim to get as close to the source of our supply as possible, to ensure freshness whilst minimising extra food miles, warehousing and food waste in the supply chain.

You can find out more about all our wonderful suppliers on our website, through ‘Our Suppliers’ page or contact us for specific enquiries. For all other branded products, please contact the manufacturer.

Can I change or cancel a delivery if the deadline has passed?

We're sorry, after the deadline has passed we're unable to cancel or change your order. This deadline is in place to ensure HelloFresh is responsible from a food waste and sourcing perspective.

If you're not able to use the box we'd encourage you to gift it to a friend or family member.

Can I add any extras to my box?

Yes we do, after choosing your meals for the week you will then be taken on to the HelloFresh Market, where you can finish your meal planning with delicious desserts, sides, snacks, and more. Don't forget to save your changes when editing your delivery.

You can also remove any extras by selecting 'Change Meals' then 'Continue' and clicking on the minus button below the added extra to remove from your order. Don't forget to save by clicking 'Confirm Order'.

What if I'm not home for my delivery?

For most of our delivery slots, we operate a leave safe policy which means our delivery drivers will follow the delivery instructions that you have specified. All of our boxes contain insulation and ice packs to keep your ingredients fresh, just make sure you pop the ingredients in the fridge as soon as you can.

If you'd like to update your delivery instructions, please click on the button below, just make sure your changes are made by the deadline, which is 11:59 PM five days prior to your delivery. Top tips for your delivery instructions:

  1. Phone numbers are not an effective delivery instruction as not all of our drivers carry mobile phones and we cannot guarantee the driver will call you.
  2. The drop zone must be accessible (no code required) and free from animals and obstructions.
  3. The driver can use their discretion to leave your box in a place they deem to be safe if your delivery instructions are not adequate.
How do I opt out of marketing emails?

What should I do if my App is not working?

Having trouble with your HelloFresh App? Before doing anything else, check for any updates in your App store. Alternatively, try rebooting your device. If you are still experiencing issues, the next step would be to try deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Where can I view credit on my account and how do I use it?

Can I request for my data to be deleted?

What is the bookmark icon?

The HelloFresh Cookbook is essentially your own digital kitchen, letting you save your favorite recipes from all over the web—Instagram, TikTok, and more—right here in your app. To learn more, click HERE.

How do I add or view recipes in my cookbook?

Add a recipe

You can keep all your favorite finds in one place. When you spot a recipe you love on social media or a website, just tap the Share icon on your phone and select the HelloFresh app from the list (you might need to tap 'More' or '...' to find us). We’ll whisk that recipe right into your digital cookbook, ingredients and all!

View saved recipes

To find your saved and imported recipes, just tap the Bookmark icon at the top of your HelloFresh app. It’s like having a secret stash of delicious inspiration right in your pocket.

Amazon: I have redeemed the offer, why am I still being charged a shipping fee?

You have activated your free shipping offer and it is visible in your HelloFresh wallet but you have been charged a shipping fee, this may be down to one of the below:

  1. You have selected a premium delivery fee, the Amazon Prime free shipping discount is only applicable to the standard delivery fee.

  2. You may be based in a delivery area that incurs an extra delivery fee. E.G Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and the Scottish Highlands. The free shipping offer will apply to your standard delivery fee however, you will be charged for the premium delivery surcharge.

  3. The free shipping did not apply to your most recent order because it was already past the deadline for making changes (11:59 PM, 5 days before your next delivery). The free shipping discount will apply to your following order, so please check next weeks order to see if the discount has been applied.

Amazon: I’m a UK Amazon Prime member based in Ireland. Could I redeem this offer?

We’re sorry but this offer is not available for customers living in Ireland. This offer is currently only for customers living in the United Kingdom (except Highlands and Islands of Scotland). Can I send vouchers to my friends and family?

We offer two referral schemes for new customers to use towards their first HelloFresh box.

From time to time, you'll have the opportunity to give a free HelloFresh box to a friend or family member and you'll always have the option to send them a discount voucher. If they use your discount voucher, you will get rewarded with some HelloFresh credit, it's a win-win.

How is your meat and poultry sourced?

All of our meat and poultry is farm assured and our supplying farms undergo regular animal welfare audits. We source our ingredients from committed suppliers who must pass through a Supplier Approval Process before supplying HelloFresh.

We only accept products from suppliers that hold certification from the leading auditing standards and we maintain close relationships, including regular visits, to ensure that the ingredients we supply to you are of the highest possible quality and the perfect fit for our delicious recipes.

Where can I find a list of allergens?

HelloFresh has a variety of recipes that could potentially contain an allergen. Ingredients are stored separately in order to minimise cross-contamination.

Most ingredients pass through HelloFresh to you sealed in the packages they were received in, however, there is a small chance of cross-contamination so we cannot guarantee that a recipe is free of a particular allergen.

At the moment we don't offer specific allergy preferences. We do list all of the allergens on our recipe cards, and on the website when you're selecting your recipes. We highlight specific ingredients that contain one or more of the fourteen major allergens.

We leave it to our customers to review the ingredients and determine which recipes best suit their dietary needs.

Are the ingredients organic?

Some of our suppliers are certified organic, but the most important factor to us when sourcing ingredients for you is that we work with specialist suppliers who engage in sustainable practices, and that we focus on flavour, making sure we bring you the most delicious ingredients possible.

Sourcing fresh produce is our bread and butter and our supply team are confident that our suppliers source for us not only the best quality, but also ethical and sustainable produce.

Substitutions of ingredients
Making sure you have everything for your recipes is important. Our suppliers and production team are working extremely hard to get your box perfectly packed. However, there may be some disruptions to our ingredient supply from time to time. When that happens, we will try and find a similar high quality, fresh ingredient which we can use as a substitute and send that in its place in your box.
What is a 'carbon conscious' recipe?

We want to make it easier than ever to eat sustainably. 'Carbon Conscious' recipes have the smallest carbon footprint of the weekly menu and produce 50% less emissions.

To help you make informed decisions when choosing your weekly menu, we've measured the environmental impact of our recipes by looking at the CO2 equivalents (CO2e) emitted. CO2e focuses on all greenhouse gases that have a global warming potential (including methane and carbon dioxide) rather than just CO2, to give a more accurate measure of their environmental impact.

HowGood is the world’s largest product and ingredient sustainability database and has partnered with HelloFresh to help us measure the CO2e impact of the ingredients used for our recipes.

How do I know my order has gone through?

Shortly after you've completed signing up to our subscription service you'll receive both a confirmation and welcome email from us.


We'll tell you what you've signed up for, the date your first delivery is scheduled and everything you need to know about managing your HelloFresh subscription! You won't be charged for your first order until the day after the deadline, which is 11:59 PM , four days prior to your delivery.

Do you have an App?

That's right, we have an app. Get inspired in the kitchen, manage your subscription, update your meal selection or follow the step-by-step guide to make cooking even easier.

Do you offer boxes for one?

Whilst we don't have a box specifically designed for one person, lots of our customers are single-person households and find it works perfectly with their lifestyle.


You could invite friends over for a delicious home-cooked meal, tuck into any remaining food later in the week, or even better, pack a portion for lunch the following day.

What's in the box?

In your box, you'll receive step-by-step recipe cards, an insulated cool bag with ice packs containing all your meat, prepped veg and dairy products, and all the portioned out ingredients you need to easily create delicious dinners.


The only ingredients you need at home are some basic pantry items, which will be listed on the recipe card. You can also check which items you'll need in advance when selecting your meals.

Can I have my deliveries every two or four weeks?

You can, click on the button below to let us know how often you'd like your deliveries.

Can I see my meals and what's coming up?

Yes, of course. Click the button below and log in:

Once logged in, you'll be able to view all the meals in you box at the top of the 'My Menu' page. These meals have either been selected by you or pre-selected using your chosen menu preference. You can navigate between weeks using the arrows on both sides at the top of the page. To update your 'Menu Preference', click here and select 'Manage'.

Can I recycle my packaging?

Packaging improvements have always been a priority to our operations teams around the world. The balance we always strive for is between the amount of packaging and the need to maintain food quality and safety (thereby reducing food waste).

We have introduced the use of on packet recycling labels on some of our packaging, which will tell you exactly what can and can't be recycled. The best way to tell is to ask your local council. Alternatively, check out our page 'Innovative Packaging'.

How much will I be charged?

The price of your delivery depends on the size of box you order and the meals or Add-ons you select each week. Take a look at all our recipes and pricing options below.

If you choose a Premium meal or extra, you will see an extra charge for these goodies, separate to your normal meal box. Any additional charges are stated on the menu and your order total will update if you select them for an upcoming order.

Can I view the menu before I've signed up?

Yes! Our next four week's menus are available on our website, regardless of whether you have a subscription with us or not. Click on the button below to view the upcoming menus:
