About HelloFresh

So, what is HelloFresh?

We’re a meal kit delivery service designed to make dinnertime simple and delicious!


How do we do this? By delivering fresh, seasonal ingredients and easy-to-follow recipe cards right to your door, making it quick and easy for you to cook wholesome dinners the entire household will love.


How does it work? You select your meals to create your perfect menu, and we’ll deliver the exact amounts of everything you need to make the meal. You’ll just need to have a few pantry staples on hand (don’t worry - it’s just a few basics and you can check what you'll need when you select your meals).


We run a flexible subscription, so there’s no scary lock-in terms or cancellation fees. And the best part? You can manage your account on the go via our free HelloFresh app. Just make sure any changes are made before the deadline, which is 11:59 PM five days prior to your delivery.

How have you reduced the packaging?

At HelloFresh we're committed to reducing our packaging. To provide fresh, high quality ingredients we do need to ensure some items are packaged, however, we have a packaging reduction programme in place and since 2017 we've reduced the packaging in the boxes by 20%.


This includes removing all black plastic, replacing trays with skin packs and we work with industry bodies like WRAP to explore ways that we can take advantage of innovations in packaging.

Do you have an App?

That's right, we have an app. Get inspired in the kitchen, manage your subscription, update your meal selection or follow the step-by-step guide to make cooking even easier.

Do you offer boxes for one?

Whilst we don't have a box specifically designed for one person, lots of our customers are single-person households and find it works perfectly with their lifestyle.


You could invite friends over for a delicious home-cooked meal, tuck into any remaining food later in the week, or even better, pack a portion for lunch the following day.

What's in the box?

In your box, you'll receive step-by-step recipe cards, an insulated cool bag with ice packs containing all your meat, prepped veg and dairy products, and all the portioned out ingredients you need to easily create delicious dinners.


The only ingredients you need at home are some basic pantry items, which will be listed on the recipe card. You can also check which items you'll need in advance when selecting your meals.

Can I have my deliveries every two or four weeks?

You can, click on the button below to let us know how often you'd like your deliveries.

When will I be charged?

You won't be charged for your order until the day after the deadline, which is 11:59 PM five days prior to your delivery.

Can I see my meals and what's coming up?

Yes, of course. Click the button below and log in:

Once logged in, you'll be able to view all the meals in you box at the top of the 'My Menu' page. These meals have either been selected by you or pre-selected using your chosen menu preference. You can navigate between weeks using the arrows on both sides at the top of the page. To update your 'Menu Preference', click here and select 'Manage'.

Can I recycle my packaging?

Packaging improvements have always been a priority to our operations teams around the world. The balance we always strive for is between the amount of packaging and the need to maintain food quality and safety (thereby reducing food waste).

We have introduced the use of on packet recycling labels on some of our packaging, which will tell you exactly what can and can't be recycled. The best way to tell is to ask your local council. Alternatively, check out our page 'Innovative Packaging'.

How much will I be charged?

The price of your delivery depends on the size of box you order and the meals or Add-ons you select each week. Take a look at all our recipes and pricing options below.

If you choose a Premium meal or extra, you will see an extra charge for these goodies, separate to your normal meal box. Any additional charges are stated on the menu and your order total will update if you select them for an upcoming order.

How do I report fraudulent activity using the HelloFresh brand?

We are aware of fraudulent websites and emails that look very similar to HelloFresh or carry our branding. In the UK, HelloFresh operates solely through the web domain, HelloFresh.co.uk. For all other official domains operating under the HelloFresh brand name, please visit our global website here. We urge customers to keep their details safe and remember we will never email you to ask you for your personal details, financial or otherwise.

Can I view the menu before I've signed up?

Yes! Our next four week's menus are available on our website, regardless of whether you have a subscription with us or not. Click on the button below to view the upcoming menus:

Already signed up and decided you'd prefer to try a different menu instead? Chat with us and we'll be able to change the date of your first delivery to the week of your preferred menu.
