Meet the Food Experts at HelloFresh

Kathrin Lobermayer - Quality Control Manager in the DACH region

Kathrin has over 9 years of experience in quality, environmental and energy management across different food industries such as nuts and sweets, beverages, meat, dairy, bakery, vegetables, produce herbs and fruits, spices and processed food in total.
Some of her previous roles were: environmental and energy manager, quality assurance analyst, sensory analyst, project management at Coca Cola Erfrischungsgetränke AG; quality and energy management, sensory analyst at Georg Lemke GmbH & Co. KG; micro, chemical, physical and sensory analytics and quality assurance at Birkel Teigwaren GmbH, micro analytics and quality assurance at Südzucker AG.
Kathrin joined HelloFresh in December 2015. Fun fact: she loves baking and her favorite dish is Bircher Müsli.

Christopher Prüß - Vice President Operations in the DACH region

When Christopher joined HelloFresh in mid 2017 as Head of Procurement, he focused specifically on supplier relationships and auditing. He has been auditing among others under GMP, german food law and FDA regulations both in the pharmaceutical and food industry.
As he believes that quality is HelloFresh's strongest asset and that customers recognize and value it, he is committed to personally trying every prospect ingredient. Next to food safety and excellent quality, Christopher is pushing the industries boundaries towards sustainability both in sourcing and packaging.
Fun Fact: his favorite HelloFresh dish is Halloumi Burger.

Rebecca O'Sullivan - Food Quality and Technical Lead for Protein and Dairy in the UK

Rebecca has 4 years of experience in the Food Industry and joined HelloFresh in April 2019. Previously, she worked in Dairy and Personalised Pet Food.
Fun facts: Rebecca loves cooking with new ingredients and this year she tried out Monkfish and Blue Cheese in some of her recipes. She does not like cooking with parsley or mint but she loves coriander! Her favourite dish to cook is Sticky Orange Chicken.
Besides cooking she loves to spend her time exploring London, trying out its many restaurants, parks and museums.

Becca Gale - Food Quality and Technical Manager in the UK

Becca has been working in the Food Industry for 5 years and joined HelloFresh in February 2019 to lead the Quality and Technical team to continually improve the quality and food safety of our ingredients.
Her former experience in food retail comes from being Food Safety Manager at Sainsbury's and her legislative knowledge from a position at the UK government working on food and farming policy.
Fun Fact: Becca's favourite HelloFresh recipe is the miso aubergine tacos - food fusion at its finest!

Amy Bredehoft - International Food Safety and Quality Assurance Manager in the UK

Amy has been working in the food industry for 8 years across a variety of sectors including alcohol, meat and meat alternatives, ingredients, and food sensory.
She joined HelloFresh in February 2016 in the DACH region to support the Food Quality Manager while she was writing her Master's thesis on packaging solutions for the meal kit subscription box market. She then moved to the UK team and today she works in London in the Food Technical Team and supports international projects regarding food safety and product quality.
Fun Fact: her favorite cuisine to cook is Italian. To Amy homemade pasta is a lengthy endeavor but it's worth every bite.

Holly Earley - Produce and Groceries Technical Lead in the UK

Holly has worked in the Food Industry for 9 years and joined HelloFresh in November 2019 to manage the food safety and quality of our produce and groceries.
Her former experience in food retail comes from being a Bakery Technologist at Woolworths Foods (South Africa) and her manufacturing experience in both confectionery and groceries.
Fun Fact: her favorite cooking method is baking.
