Experience and AccreditationsBoasting over a decade’s experience in the food industry, Mimi Morley brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Senior Recipe Development Manager at HelloFresh UK.
After learning how to cook when she was 18 at the prestigious Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland, Mimi continued her love of food and cooking into her career, private cheffing for many years, before getting a job in HelloFresh Customer Care in our London HQ.
After mere months, her passion for food and enthusiasm shone through, securing her the role as HelloFresh’s Senior Recipe Developer and she has never looked back. Alongside her role at HelloFresh, Mimi has also done a stage at the luxury Chiltern Firehouse, ran a supperclub (Big Fat Chicken), as well as running external catering events and even rustling up a few wedding cakes!
A Word From Mimi Morley Herself“I am passionate about all things food; from the taste and origins of different ingredients, to the nutritional value and appealing aesthetic of the dishes I create. Honestly, I find it so hard to choose my favourite food! I love Indian food, Korean food, Japanese food, Italian food, and of course I have a soft spot for British food which I feel gets a bad rep (especially my Mum's roasts but I feel like everyone says that!).
I do like watching the odd TikTok foodie video, but I wouldn't say we use them much for recipe development! I prefer a recipe book to be honest... I think having worked in recipe development for this long, I know how much recipes need testing so I wouldn’t generally trust a recipe seen on social media (apart from my own of course). Plus, I love reading cookbooks.”
