Patrick has been unusually reticent about making falafels as usually they need a food processor to whizz all of the ingredients. Then he got his hands on some Belazu Rose Harrisa paste and decided he had to make the recipe work! Harissa is a fantastic spicy ingredient originally from Tunisia which combines red peppers with chillies and other spices. It’s hot though, so add it to taste. If you don’t have a food processor then it’ll just take a bit more elbow grease to make them, but it’s totally worth the effort!
