Review summary

Updated on Sept 2026
  • Flavour: The sweet-and-spicy sauce leans quite sweet, and some found the overall flavour mild rather than punchy; adding fresh ginger and chilli flakes can help boost the heat.
  • Ease of prep: Very quick and simple to put together, making it a good option for busy weeknights.
  • Suggestions: Add fresh ginger and chilli flakes to lift the flavour, and consider doubling the sauce quantities if you prefer a saucier dish.
  • Portions: The dish is filling for some, though a few felt the sauce quantity was a little light for the amount of noodles.
