Sweet Chilli Chicken Sourdough Baguette

Serves 2 | with Rocket, Tomato and Mayonnaise

Precooked chicken coated in sticky sweet chilli sauce makes for an ideal sandwich filling. Slices of tomato, a layer of mayo and a handful of rocket ensure this sourdough baguette tastes as fresh as it does delicious.

Baking Tray


Into the Oven

a) Preheat your oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7.

b) Remove the bread from the packaging and pop onto a baking tray. Bake until toasted and golden, 10-12 mins.

c) Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, stir together the sweet chilli sauce and the cooked chicken slices.

d) Thinly slice the tomato.

e) Once baked, allow the baguette to cool, 5 mins.

Layer the Baguette

a) Once the baguette has cooled slightly, slice in half lengthways. 

b) Spread the mayo onto the base of the baguette, then lay the rocket on top.

c) Arrange the tomato slices on top of the rocket.

Finish and Serve

a) Arrange the sweet chilli chicken pieces on top of the tomato.

b) Sandwich on the baguette lid, slice in half widthways and share between 2 plates.
