Introducing tonight’s star ingredient: (drum roll) Jalapeños! Jalapeños are named after the Mexican town of Jalapa and have a rating of 2,500 - 10,000 units on the Scoville Scale. The Scoville Scale is used to measure the heat in a chilli with the hottest being a Trinidad Moruga Scorpion chilli (the name says it all!) at 2,000,000 units. Needless to say tonight’s dinner is a little more tame but we still recommend adding them according to taste. Andale!
The quantities provided above are averages only.
Boxes and ingredients are packed in facilities that handles Peanut, Nuts, Sesame, Fish, Crustaceans, Milk, Egg, Mustard, Celery, Soya, Gluten and Sulphites. Due to the war in Ukraine, it has been necessary to substitute sunflower oil with rapeseed oil in some products without a label change. The FSA have advised that allergic reactions to rapeseed oil are rare.
