Review summary

Updated on Aug 2026
  • Flavour:Ā The honey-mustard vinaigrette is a highlight, with a well-balanced flavour that pairs nicely with the tomatoes and avocado.
  • Ease of prep:Ā Quick and simple to put together, making it a good choice for a light lunch as well as a side.
  • Suggestions:Ā Use less dressing than recommended if you prefer a lighter coating; chopping the lettuce leaves smaller also works well.
  • Next-day meals:Ā Works well as a standalone lunch — adding hard-boiled eggs or a protein such as turkey breast makes it more filling.
  • Portions:Ā The lettuce can feel generous relative to the avocado, so increasing the avocado quantity helps balance the salad.
