Cooking Steps

Fry Chicken

  • Boil a full kettle. 
  • Slice pepper into thin strips. Thinly slice the spring onion. Drain the prawns.
  • Heat a drizzle of oil in a large frying pan on medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, fry the pepper and white cabbage and broccoli slaw, 4-5 mins.
  • Next, add the prawns. Fry for 4-5 mins more. IMPORTANT: Wash hands and utensils after handling raw prawns. Cook so they're opaque in the middle.

  • Meanwhile, pour the boiled water into a medium saucepan with ½ tsp salt and bring to the boil.
  • Add the noodles and cook, 4 mins.
  • Once cooked, drain in a sieve.
  • Crush the peanuts in the unopened sachet using a rolling pin.
Toss Together

  • Once the prawns have cooked, add the noodles, ginger puree, oyster sauce, Worcester sauce, soy, tomato ketchup and honey (see pantry for both).
  • Toss together to combine. 
Dinner's Ready!

  • Share the prawn stir-fry between bowls.
  • Top with the peanuts and spring onion.
