What is a frittata?

A frittata is an egg-based Italian dish. It’s similar to a quiche without a crust or a baked omelette rather than fried.

A frittata is versatile, ideal for brunch or a lighter lunch or served with some potatoes or bread as an evening meal.

Frittatas are made from beaten eggs with cheese and veg. You can add in your favourite ingredients to suit your taste, or to use up what you have in the fridge.
